Peptide Vials for Sale
Selank TP-7 Vial
Selank (TP-7) is a synthetic heptapeptide, Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg-Pro-Gly-Pro, built on the immune peptide tuftsin with a stabilizing Pro-Gly-Pro tail and studied in anxiety and neuro-immune research models. Supplied as lyophilized powder in 5 mg and 10 mg vials, each lot with an HPLC certificate of analysis. CAS 129954-34-3. For laboratory research use only.

Description
Selank Vial: Research-Grade Tuftsin-Derived Heptapeptide
Selank is a synthetic seven-amino-acid peptide built on tuftsin, a naturally occurring immunomodulatory tetrapeptide, with a Pro-Gly-Pro tail added for stability. It was developed at the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Russian Academy of Sciences and is studied in anxiety, stress-response and neuroimmune research.
Stacked BioLabs supplies Selank as a lyophilized powder in 5 mg and 10 mg vials, each with a lot-specific certificate of analysis.
Compound identity
Research background
Tuftsin (Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg) is a fragment of the immunoglobulin G heavy chain that stimulates phagocytic cells but breaks down quickly in biological fluids. Adding the Pro-Gly-Pro sequence to its C-terminus slows enzymatic degradation, and the resulting heptapeptide became Selank. It therefore keeps the tuftsin core at its N-terminus while behaving as a longer, more durable molecule in experimental systems.
Published research, much of it from Russian groups, examines Selank in rodent models of anxiety and stress, and in studies of its effects on the expression of genes involved in GABAergic signaling and on the balance of inflammatory cytokines. It is also used as a comparison compound in immune-cell culture studies of how short synthetic peptides influence cytokine signaling. It is frequently compared with Semax, a related synthetic peptide from the same institute that is based on an ACTH fragment rather than tuftsin.
Selank is also available as a liquid spray, and as part of the Semax + Selank Stack.
Verifying your lot
Every vial carries a lot number. Match it to its certificate in the COA & lab reports library, which lists identity and purity results for that specific batch. A certificate applies only to the lot it names. If you can’t find a report for your lot, contact us and we’ll supply it. Keep the certificate in your lab records together with the product, strength and lot number, so every result can be traced back to the exact batch used.
A typical certificate reports purity by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and confirms identity by mass spectrometry (MS), comparing the measured molecular mass with the expected value for the compound. Check that the product name, strength and lot number on the certificate match the label before recording results.
Storage and handling
Lyophilized peptides are most stable when kept cold, dry and away from light; −20 °C is the standard for long-term storage of lyophilized material. Follow the storage instructions supplied with the material and your institution’s handling procedures. Reconstitution is usually done with sterile or bacteriostatic water, depending on your protocol. Before opening, let the vial reach room temperature to limit condensation, and use sterile technique when puncturing the stopper. Label each reconstituted vial with the date, diluent and concentration used, and keep it refrigerated and protected from light.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Selank and Semax?
Both are synthetic heptapeptides ending in Pro-Gly-Pro. Selank is derived from tuftsin, an immune peptide; Semax is derived from ACTH(4-10), a fragment of adrenocorticotropic hormone.
What does “TP-7” mean?
TP-7 is a short label for the seven-residue (heptapeptide) form. The compound is Selank.
What strengths are available?
5 mg and 10 mg per vial. Choose a strength above to see its price and availability.
Is this product for human use?
No. This product is sold strictly for laboratory research use. It is not a drug, food, dietary supplement or cosmetic, and is not for human or veterinary use. See our RUO policy.
